Leading digital insurance company Eleos launches the most seamless remote GP experience ever created by a UK insurance provider

London, August 2024: Eleos releases GoGP, a 24/7 remote GP service as an exclusive free perk for its members

When you take out an insurance policy with Eleos, you become part of their club, giving you access to free membership perks, such as their debut GoGP service. This refreshed service allows their customers to easily book a phone or video remote GP consultation at any time and from anywhere that suits the customer best. 

GoGP powered by HealthHero is replacing their former Nuffield Health service. 
Now new customers can access a remote GP directly from their personalised dashboard immediately after taking out a policy - no waiting, no queuing, no early morning phone calls hoping to be seen by a GP - they now have the flexibility to choose a male or female doctor (where available), and the time and date they will be seen.

This service comes at a key moment as recently released NHS data conveys the experience of millions. In May 2024 there were over 30 million GP appointments, but in 48% of cases, patients waited longer than a week to be seen.  

The data also shows that only half of every practice’s registered patients made GP appointments. If that number were to increase, it’s hard to see how the system could cope.
